Call me Taylor or Tay, I’ll respond to either! I’m an energetic golden retriever of a girl that loves cold brew coffee, fun nail designs, fine-line tattoos, Minnesota Wild hockey, and DUCKS. No really, I love ducks. If we see any ducks during your session, I will more than likely snap a photo and gush about how much I love them.

I’m a Minneapolis/St. Paul based photographer with a passion for shooting anything that involves people (I have not found a better way to word that phrase yet, lol). I have a significant amount of experience working with couples and families, as well as clothing models for my brand work. I studied Communication at the College of Saint Benedict with a minor in Art that focused on Photography. One of my favorite photography moments in school was during a Photojournalism class I took in London during a semester abroad. We were tasked with going to a random borough in the city and taking 10 portraits of strangers, if they gave us permission of course. What started as an extremely intimidating task turned into a beautiful connection with local Londoners! I captured so many different stories through solo portraits and got to chat with people I never would’ve otherwise met. I think that was when I officially fell in love with photography. The connections that photography fosters are as impactful as the art itself!

Believe it or not, my business actually began in wedding videography! In June of 2021, one of my best friends was getting married. She was bummed about not being able to afford a wedding videographer, and the idea of producing a wedding video intrigued me, so I offered the service as a gift to the couple. I had NO idea what I was doing, but I quickly learned and continued to book videography services. Eventually, however, I realized my true love lied in photos and I shifted back to a photography business!

My experience in shooting wedding video has definitely helped me succeed as a wedding photographer, though I am still building up my wedding photography portfolio (insert plea for second shooting opportunities here)!
